VSM software missing AEB telltale in case of blind camera.
On certain Peugeot vehicles the Automatic Emergency Braking Assist telltale fails to illuminate if the front camera is blocked. No AEB warning telltale meaning no warning light appears in the instrument cluster. An additional pop-up appears for around 10 seconds at each key on/key off (Driving Assistance Sensor Blind: clean sensor see User Manual). The Automatic Emergency Braking system is operating in a degraded mode but remains functional due to radar support.
To rectify this issue we will update the Vehicle System Management software

Cooling spray nozzle potentially missing
Affected vehicles may have a cylinder block with a missing cooling nozzle. A missing nozzle means the piston may not be adequately cooled causing it to weaken deform or break and leading to sudden engine failure resulting in a loss of power and in the worst‑case scenario a thermal incident.
Check the presence of all cooling nozzles and replace if missing.
Water Pump Pulley
On affected vehicles due to a production nonconformity the water pump may malfunction which may cause a loss of engine power and result in the engine shutting down.

Alternator protection
Affected vehicles may have been assembled with contact or with a reduced clearance between the Gasoline Particulate Filter pipe and the pole protection cap of the 48V Belt Starter Generator. There is a possibility of contact between these components leading to water infiltration and an electrical arch which could trigger a thermal event.
Replace the pole protection cap of the 48V Belt Starter Generator. Check the distance between the Gasoline Particulate Filter pipe and the pole protection cap of the 48V Belt Starter Generator and re‑position or replace the pipe if required.
