Inspect and if the PTC connector is found damaged replace the PTC and relevant wiring connector. Upgrade the operating logic of the PTC
DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IN THE AIR BAG CONTROL UNIT
Damage can occur within the vehicles Air Bag Control unit causing the warning light to be displayed and the Air Bag system deactivated.
Inspect the vehicles if the Air Bag warning light is already illuminated replace the control unit. If it is not update the software in the unit.
IN THE EVENT OF A FRONTAL COLLISION THE FRONT IMPACT SENSORS COULD BECOME DISCONNECTED AND THE AIR BAGS MAY NOT ACTIVATE AS EXPECTED
In the event of a frontal collision the front impact sensors could become disconnected and the air bags may not activate as expected.
Update the software in the Air Bag Control (ACU) the improved collision algorithm will ensure that airbags deploy properly in the event of a collision.
THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT WITHIN THE HECU MAY EXPERIENCE A SHORT CIRCUIT CONDITION
The electrical circuit within the HECU may experience a short circuit condition that results in excessive current.
Install new fuses on affected vehicles and software update for cars equipped with Electronic Parking Brake (EPB).

IF THE ECALL SYSTEM IS ACTIVATED THE VIN NUMBER MAY NOT BE TRANSMITTED
If the eCall system is activated the VIN number may not be transmitted.
Reset the eCall system so that the VIN number is transmitted accurately when appropriate.
THE VEHICLE'S INTEGRATED ELECTRONIC BRAKE MOTOR CONTROL SOFTWARE LOGIC CAN AUTOMATICALLY DISABLE MOTOR OPERATION UPON DETECTION OF AN ABNORMAL SENSOR SIGNAL
The vehicles Integrated Electronic Brake (IEB) motor control software logic can automatically disable motor operation upon detection of an abnormal sensor signal.
Update the software controlling the IEB.
THE VEHICLE MAY EXPERIENCE A LOSS OF POWER DUE TO INSUFFICIENT FUEL SUPPLY TO THE ENGINE
On affected vehicle a blocked fuel pump nozzle may lead to a loss of power.
Inspect the nozzle and replace if burs are detected.
VEHICLE MAY ROLL AWAY IF THE ELECTRONIC PARKING BRAKE IS NOT APPLIED WHEN SWITCHING OFF THE VEHICLE IN PARK.
Vehicle may roll away if the electronic park brake is not applied when switching off the vehicle in park
Update the software controlling the EPB so that it applies automatically when the car is switched off in Park
WATER OR OIL MAY ENTER THE HYDRAULIC ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT
Water or oil may enter the Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit over a long period of time causing an electrical short circuit.
Install a relay to isolate the HECU when the ignition is switched off.
