ECM Software Inspection & Correction
The manufacturer has determined on affected vehicles the On- Board Fuel Consumption Monitor (OBFCM) correction calibrations included in the certification specifications were not reflected in the mass-production calibrations.
Update the vehicle ECM software to the latest level.
ECM and DCU Software update
Affected vehicles fitted with 1.9 RZ4E engines may under very specific driving conditions experience engine management control that may result in temporary emission irregularities.
On the affected vehicles an update to the Engine Management Control unit software will be carried out

CRACKS MAY APPEAR AROUND THE REAR LEAF SPRING BUSH EYE
Cracks may appear around the rear leaf spring bush eye.
Replace the rear leaf springs and handbrake cable.
POSSIBLE INSUFFICIENT TORQUE APPLIED TO THE RETAINING BOLTS OF THE PROPSHAFT AT EITHER TRANSMISSION OR DIFFERENTIAL FLANGES
Possible insufficient torque applied to the retaining bolts of the propshaft.
Replace any bolts nuts or washers that may have already become detached and Re-torque the propshaft retaining bolts.

REAR LEAF SPRING MAY CRACK AT EYE BUSH ON SUSPENSION
Rear leaf spring front eye may fracture.
Replace rear leaf springs on affected vehicles where necessary.
CAMSHAFT GEAR TEETH MAY BREAK
Poor heat treatment to the camshaft gears may cause the teeth to break off and fall into the timing gear causing the engine to stop suddenly. This could increase the risk of collision.
Recall the 1102 vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the camshaft and timing gear.
STEERING RACK/ STEERING COLUMN CONNECTOR MAY DETACH
It has been identified that the connection block/shaft between the splined parts of the steering rack and steering column have not been manufactured to specification. This can result in the splines not engaging in the block/shaft sufficiently. This could lead to a disconnection of the steering column and steering rack which can result in loss of control of the vehicle.
Recall all affected vehicles to replace the connection block with a longer connector. The connector block is of a different size and shape
VEHICLE MAY INADVERTENTLY MOVE
It is possible under certain conditions that the starter motor may engage for under 1 second whilst the vehicle is in forward gear. This could result in a risk of a crush injury if anyone is in the vicinity of the vehicle.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the transmission control module.

Recall all affected vehicles and replace the transmission control module.
BRAKE PIPE MAY LEAK
The subject vehicle have been extended by Wheel Base Engineering as part of a contract for Isuzu. It has been found that a manufacturing flaw in one of the extension brake pipes has caused a brake fluid leak. The driver will receive a warning of the leak when the low fluid warning light illuminates; however there is a slight risk that the brake system could be compromised and result in longer braking distances if the issue is not rectified.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the extension brake pipes with quality ensured products.
FIRE MAY OCCUR
It is possible that over time the underbody insulator can sag down and come into contact with the EGR cooler. This can result in the insulator igniting and a vehicle fire could then ensue.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the insulator with an improved heat resistance version.
POSSIBILITY OF LOSS OF CONTROL
It has been found that tie rod interfered against I-beam on full-steering lock. If the vehicles are continuously used in the worst case there is a possibility that the tie rod may be damaged thereby affecting handling.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the track rod with one of a quality assured design.
STARTER RELAY MAY OVERHEAT & BURN OUT
The ECM main relay and the engine starter relay have been inserted the wrong way round. This could cause the starter relay to overheat and burn out.
Dealers to check the two relays are in the correct location and if not then replace them both.
