On affected vehicles the software repair for previous recall 25C79 may not have been delivered properly and the Powertrain Control Module software may deliver lower power output than intended.

25S19 Ranger – Automatic Transmission no reverse
Ford constantly monitors production processes and vehicles in service. While monitoring vehicles in operation we have become aware of a number of Ranger automatic transmission vehicles where you may experience no reverse motion when the gear selector is placed in reverse due to a potential issue with the transmission main control valve body. The Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) and Wrench light will illuminate when this malfunction occurs. The vehicle could roll forward despite the gear selector being in the reverse position depending on where parked. Unexpected vehicle motion can increase the risk of a crash.
Replace the transmission main control valve body

25C56 Transit - Potential Incorrect CO2 Emissions Recorded On The Certificate Of Conformity
On affected vehicles the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) may contain inaccurate CO2 data. As a result the CoCs state a lower CO2 value than intended.
Dealers will exchange CoC papers and help owners update their vehicle’s registration documentation. Ford will reimburse any underpaid purchase tax due as a result of the vehicle’s re-registration.

26C16 Mustang - Lane Keeping System Software Update
According to Ford’s records certain Mustang vehicles may not have the remedy for Compliance Recall 21C11 installed correctly but were recorded as having received the repair successfully. Because the correct software update may not have been installed on these vehicles the underlying condition may still exist therefore these vehicles may still have the incorrect software loaded for the Lane Keeping System (LKS). On affected vehicles not having the latest Lane Keeping System (LKS) software may lead to non-compliance with the current regulations relating to Hands-On-Off (HOO) chime requirements that became effective from April 1 2021. Dealers will update the Image Processing Module A (IPMA) and the Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) to the latest available software level free of charge.

26C15 Transit - Instrument Panel Cluster Configuration Update
According to Ford’s records certain Transit vehicles may not have the remedy for Compliance Recall 21C32 installed correctly but were recorded as having received the repair successfully. Because the correct configuration update may not have been installed on these vehicles the underlying condition may still exist therefore these vehicles may still have the incorrect configuration loaded onto the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). On affected vehicles an incorrect Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) configuration may have disabled the Advanced Emergency Braking System warning messages. Although the system remains functional the instrument cluster may not display the required warning message and no chime may sound which could result in the vehicle not complying with applicable regulations. Dealers will update the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) configuration to the latest available level.

26S15 Puma - Driveshaft Inspection
Affected vehicles may experience a right-hand sided front driveshaft failure resulting in a loss of drive.
Inspect the right-hand side front driveshaft and replace if necessary.

On affected vehicles the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve may fail leading to weak acceleration engine vibration a no start condition or a loss of power.
A remedy is not currently available. The manufacturer is working to provide a software update to prevent this failure. Should you experience EGR failure contact your dealer immediately.

On affected vehicles equipped with a Ford Performance Whipple Supercharger Upgrade Kit the updated software may not be able to detect module hardware errors leading to unintended acceleration or unintended vehicle movement increasing the risk of a crash.

25SD9 - E-Transit – Halfshaft Retention Force
On affected vehicles left-hand rear half shafts were not fully seated into the electric drive assembly which may result in premature wear and a leak. This may eventually lead to a loss of motive power or unintended vehicle movement while the vehicle is in Park (if the parking brake is not applied).
Check with a gauge disassemble and check further if necessary. Replace parts if required.
Transit Courier: Diesel DV-Neo Engine Coolant Pump Update
Certain vehicles were built with a potential issue affecting the coolant pump. This issue may lead to an engine failure causing a sudden loss of power without prior warning.
Replace the coolant pump including a prior level gear without water steam treatment.

On affected vehicles the software repair for previous recall 20S10 may not have been delivered properly and vehicles may exhibit an issue where the transmission lubricant pump gear could fail.
Update the Power Control Module and Transmission Control Module and perform an additional verification process to ensure the configuration has been installed correctly.

On affected vehicles one of the front suspension bolts may have been overtightened during manufacturer which may cause it to weaken and fracture over time.
