BCM software missing telltale if LKA unavailable
On affected vehicles the Lane Keep Assist tell-tale fails to illuminate if the front camera is blocked meaning no warning light appears in the instrument cluster.
Update the Body Control Module software.
VSM software missing AEB telltale in case of blind camera.
On certain DS vehicles the Automatic Emergency Braking Assist telltale fails to illuminate if the front camera is blocked. No AEB warning telltale meaning no warning light appears in the instrument cluster. An additional pop-up appears for around 10 seconds at each key on/key off (Driving Assistance Sensor Blind: clean sensor see User Manual). The Automatic Emergency Braking system is operating in a degraded mode but remains functional due to radar support.
To rectify this issue we will update the Vehicle System Management software
Alternator protection
Affected vehicles may have been assembled with contact or with a reduced clearance between the Gasoline Particulate Filter pipe and the pole protection cap of the 48V Belt Starter Generator. There is a possibility of contact between these components leading to water infiltration and an electrical arch which could trigger a thermal event.
Replace the pole protection cap of the 48V Belt Starter Generator. Check the distance between the Gasoline Particulate Filter pipe and the pole protection cap of the 48V Belt Starter Generator and re‑position or replace the pipe if required.
DS Automobiles DS3 Crossback ESC software
Affected vehicles may have incorrect or missing tyre pressure messages displayed in the instrument cluster due to a software deviation.
Update the Electric Stability Control calibration to ensure the correct tyre pressure warning messages are displayed
DS DS7 Crossback BCM software Stop/Start system
On affected vehicles the engine will run all the time and will not shut off in start/stop mode due to incorrect Body Control Module coding.
Update the Body Control Module software.
DS DS7 Crossback Traction Battery
Affected vehicles may have a fault in the High Voltage Battery which could potentially lead to it overheating and in the worst case a battery or vehicle fire. Customers are advised to stop any plug-in charging and eSave charging until the vehicle is reworked.
Update the battery management software or replace the High Voltage Battery if necessary.
Emission recall – On Board Diagnostics
Vehicles may be affected by incorrect performance of the On-Board-Diagnostics related to Selective Catalytic Reduction system and/or Diesel Particle Filter. The Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) may not illuminate in the event of a malfunction and therefore does not comply with emission regulations.
Update the Engine Control Unit software to ensure compliance to regulations.

DS Automobiles Fuel Pipe
On affected vehicles there may be loose connections between a high-pressure fuel pipe and the engine fuel rail which potentially could lead to a leak and risk of fire.
Retighten the affected connections.

Retighten the affected connections.
DS Automobiles DV5R Engines Camshaft Chain
Vehicles may be affected by premature wearing of the camshaft drive chain leading to abnormal noise or to a breakage of the chain in the worst case.
Update the software to improve oil pressure and reduce wear. Check the engine noise and replace the chain if required. If no problem found change the oil to one with higher viscosity and special anti-wear additives.

Traction Battery software
Affected vehicles may face an error in the Battery Monitoring Unit software.
Affected vehicles may face an error in the Battery Monitoring Unit software.
DS DS4 Fuel Pipe Leakage
Affected vehicles may face potential leakage of the under-bonnet fuel pipe due to a weakness of its crimping.
Change the fuel pipe.
DS Automobiles DS3 Crossback eVCU update
Affected vehicles may not comply with test requirements in the matter of emissions test execution by competent authorities and energy consumption may be too high.
Update the electrical Vehicle Control Unit (eVCU) software.
DS Automobiles DS7 Selective Catalytic Reduction diagnosis issues.
On affected vehicles the Engine Control Unit (ECU) software is not according to specification.
Upload modified software to the ECU.
DS Automobiles DS3 DS7 Radio software via OTA update
On affected vehicles the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) functionality may not meet regulatory requirements and the Active Emergency Brake (AEB) and Lane Keep Assist (LKA) can inadvertently be deactivated by a long press of the ADAS button on the radio.
On the affected vehicles the radio software will be updated by an Over-The-Air update which will be remotely checked as successfully installed.

DS Automobiles DS7 Crossback Rear Axle Adjustment Rod.
On affected vehicles the rear tie toe arm bushing was not crimped to specification which could allow movement of the arm on the bushing.
On the affected vehicles the rear tie toe arm will be replaced on both sides.
DS DS7 Crossback Steering Wheel Calibration
On affected vehicles the steering wheel calibration may not be correct.
Check and re-calibrate the steering wheel.
DS3 Crossback Steering Gear Pinion
On affected vehicles the steering rack fitted may not conform to specification and result in an increased force to rotate the steering wheel.
On the affected vehicles the steering rack will be replaced.
DS DS7 Crossback PHEV Traction Battery
On affected vehicles there is a fault in the High Voltage (HV) Battery which could potentially lead to a breakdown charging issue and/or overheating and in a worst-case scenario a High Voltage Battery or vehicle fire.
Replace the High Voltage Battery.
Cross carline Engine software
On affected vehicles below 12500 miles under certain conditions engine emissions may lead to a non-compliance to regulatory requirements.
Check the mileage of the vehicle and update the ECU (Engine Control Unit) calibration on vehicles below 12500 miles.
A fuel pipe could develop a leak in the engine compartment which could lead to a risk of a vehicle fire.

Check and replace the fuel pipe if necessary.
Affected vehicles may have been supplied with a charging cable that was not according to specification (a risk of a wrong safety calibration feature of the temperature sensor of the charging cable pins). In worst-case this could lead to a thermal incident during charging.
