POSSIBLE AIR LEAKS ON BRAKE CIRCUIT
As part of an ongoing investigation and improvement process there is a requirement to inspect the air piping connections on the hand brake circuit (Circuit 3) for completeness and serviceability.
Recall all affected vehicles for inspection of pipework and report finding to manufacturer.
POSSIBLE AIR LEAKS ON BRAKE CIRCUIT
The recoiling of the pipes during fitment at production may cause the pipes to split at the pipe connection on the hand brake circuit (Circuit 3).
Recall all affected vehicles for the inspection and if required the replacement of the brake pipes.

Recall all affected vehicles for the inspection and if required the replacement of the brake pipes.
OIL MAY LEAK
It has been identified that the centrifugal filter screw cap to the engine oil cooler module on a specific number of vehicles may loosen resulting in oil leakage onto the road surface.
This recall is to replace the centrifugal oil filter with a quality improved version.
WHEEL BEARINGS MAY FAIL
It has been identified that the quality of some AKE bearings fitted to the 09N044 mid-lift axle (Hendrichson manufacturer) may not be to specification. This could result in failure of the bearing and ultimately detachment of the wheel and hub.
Recall all affected vehicles to check the type of bearing and if necessary replace with the correct specification bearing.

Recall all affected vehicles to check the type of bearing and if necessary replace with the correct specification bearing.
AIRBAG MAY MALFUNCTION
The position of the airbag electronic control unit (ECU) leaves it susceptible to water damage which may cause the airbag to malfunction.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to fit a bracket and reposition the ECU.
WHEEL BEARINGS FITTED TO THE SECOND AXLE MAY FAIL
It has been identified that a number of repairs have been carried out on the hub seals where the bearings have not been replaced. This may lead to bearing failure.
Recall the vehicles to replace the full set of wheel bearings and seals to prevent a possible bearing failure.
AXLE MAY DISPLACE
It has been identified that during production on a number of vehicles the leaf spring of the front axle has been fitted the wrong way round. In the event that the spring should break there would be a reduction of the positional control of the front axle which is afforded by the second leaf eye wrap.
Recalled vehicles will be checked for correct orientation of the front springs which will be corrected if found not to be in compliance.

PARKING BRAKE MAY APPLY INADVERTENTLLY
There is a possibility that the clamp ring connecting the brake hose of the parking brake relay valve on the rear axle may have been fitted incorrectly. Should the hose detach the spring parking brake would inadvertently apply.
Recalled vehicles will have the position of the clamp ring checked. If found to be incorrect the hose will be cut to the required length and fitted with a new clamp ring and reinforcing sleeve.

INCORRECT TRACK ROD ASSEMBLIES FITTED
In some instances subject vehicles have been fitted with an incorrect track rod.
Recalled vehicles will be fitted with a track rod assembly of the correct type.
INCORRECT SPECIFICATION OF DRAWBAR CROSSMEMBER
It has been identified that a number of vehicles have been produced whereby the rear cross member which carries the drawbar coupling assembly has been incorrectly specified.
Recall affected vehicles and replace the crossmember with one manufactured to the correct specification.
POSSIBILITY OF LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL
The bearings which locate the support for the telescoping adjustment of the steering column may become displaced with possible loss of steering control if a securing clip is not fitted correctly.
Likely to be affected vehicles will be recalled during which a check of the steering shaft will be made. Should the shaft be faulty it will be replaced.
POSSIBILITY OF AN OIL LEAK
Possible leakage of hydraulic oil from high pressure hose - hydro pump to fan drive hydromotor
Recall likely to be affected vehicles and fit a quality assured replacement hose
SEAT BELT INERTIA REEL MAY NOT LOCK.
The lap belts fitted to the passenger seats may have incorrectly manufactured inertia reels. As a consequence a seat belt may not lock in a collision.
Check the batch number of each seat belt and fit a quality assured replacement where necessary.

Check the batch number of each seat belt and fit a quality assured replacement where necessary.
POSSIBILITY OF FUEL LEAK.
Failure of number one injector pipe which in the worst case scenario may result in a vehicle fire.
Replace number one injector pipe with a quality assured item. At the same time the remaining injector pipes will be inspected for serviceability.
HOT ENGINE EXHAUST GASES MAY MELT PARK BRAKE HOSE
The circuit 3 air pipe connected to the air reservoir is fitted too close to the engine exhaust. The hot gasses could melt the pipe and cause an air leak and the park brake to malfunction.
Fit a new quick release coupling assembly to relocate the hose.
BRAKE CALIPER MOUNTING BOLT MAY BREAK
The bolts which secure the front brake caliper to the mounting bracket may not be to specification and could shear as a result.
Check identification number on the bolt heads and replace with bolts of the correct specification where necessary.
POSSIBLE FRACTURE OF PROPELLOR SHAFT
The propellor shaft fitted to a specific number of vehicles may fracture at certain high rotation frequencies.
Affected vehicles are being recalled for the fitment of a quality assured replacement propellor shaft.

Affected vehicles are being recalled for the fitment of a quality assured replacement propellor shaft.
SECOND AXLE LOWER SPRING ARM CONCERN
In some cases fitment of nylon thrust washers may allow excessive lateral movement of the second axle suspension lower spring arms. This could loosen the fixing bolts at the spring eye bracket and affect the steering control.
Fit an extra support bracket at the spring eye bracket and new thrust washers.
