UNEXPECTED AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT
On the affected vehicles a possible nonconformity of certain seals on the vehicles body could lead to water ingress in the passenger compartment. This may affect the operation of the passenger air bag. Unintended deployment is possible.
On affected vehicles add extra sealant and replace wet or water damaged components.
FUEL MAY LEAK
On the affected vehicles a possible non-conformity in the positioning of the fuel filler neck seal near the filler cap could cause a fuel leak when completely filling up the tank.
Checking and if necessary refit seal.
WHEEL MAY DETACH
It has been identified that the wheel bolts may not have been tightened to the correct specification. The driver may experience a vibration through the steering wheel. However if not rectified there is a risk that the wheels may become damaged over time or the wheel could in extreme cases detach from the vehicle whilst driving. This could cause loss of control of the vehicle.
Recall all affected vehicles to check the tightness of the road wheel bolts and rectify as necessary. In certain cases the replacement of the bolt(s) and wheel(s) may be necessary.
DIRECTIONAL CONTROL MAY BE AFFECTED
It is possible that some suspension and brake components were not tightened correctly when building the car. It is possible for the components to become insecure and develop increase in noise from the suspension and increase of free play in steering. If not corrected the directional control and brakes could be affected.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and tighten the affected components to the required specifiaction: rear suspension fixings on the body brake calipers on their supports front subframe fixings on the body front hub carrier fixings on the subframe and on the shock absorbers brake hoses on the calipers and fixings of the underbody deflectors.
BONNET MAY OPEN UNINTENTIONALLY
It has been identified that the striker wire on the bonnet lining may not have sufficient support to prove it with the security for its intended purpose. This can lead to incorrect locking of the bonnet over time and could result in an unintentional release of the bonnet. The driver will received early warning signs or symptoms by the incorrect locking of the bonnet.
Recall all affected vehicles to inspect and if required an additional strengthener to retain the striker cable on the inner panel of the bonnet. In some cases there maybe a requirement to replace the bonnet.
BONNET MAY OPEN UNEXPECTEDLY
It has been identified that the bonnet striker support may corrode. If this corrosion is not treated there is a possibility the bonnet striker support may fail which will allow the bonnet to open whilst the vehicle is in motion. Early warning signs or symptoms of corrosion can be seen by the driver around the bonnet striker support and on the leading edge of the bonnet also the bonnet may not lock correctly.
Recall affected vehicles to inspect the area around the bonnet striker support and take preventive action to protect the area from corrosion which may include the replacement of the bonnet if required.

FRONT SUSPENSION MAY FAIL
The front suspension wishbones fixing bolts may not be to the correct specification which could lead to a risk of them breaking. This may affetc the driver's ability to control the vehicle.
On affected vehicles replace the wishbone fixing bolts.
LOSS OF CONTROL
In the event of emergency braking or during an ESP regulation phase (e.g. avoiding manoeuvre) the hydraulic block may not prevent the locking of a wheel which could affect control of the vehicle.
On affected vehicles replace the braking system hydraulic block

BONNET MAY OPEN WITHOUT WARNING
The bonnet may not close correctly over time because a possible non-conformity with the fixing of the bonnet catch. The driver may notice in certain cases difficulty in opening or closing the bonnet easily or vibrations or slight movement of the bonnet when driving. The risk is incorrect closing of the bonnet which could lead without any warning to unwanted opening when driving.
Recall the the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the front bumper support. Where necessary the front bumper support will be replaced.
AIRBAG MAY INCORRECTLY DEPLOY
On affected vehicles the driver's air bag inflation device may not conform to specification. As a result may not deploy correctly during an impact.
Replace the driver's air bag module on affected vehicles

FUEL MAY LEAK
The fuel injectors supply rail could develop a leak over a period of time leading to a drop in fuel pressure in the injector supply rail which can affect the operation of the stop start system. In some extreme cases the engine might not restart and a spray of petrol under the bonnet may occur which is a fire risk.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the fuel injector supply rail. Where necessary replace the fuel injector supply rail.

STEERING COLUMN MAY FAIL UNEXPECTEDLY
A component of the steering column may not be to specification and could fail. If this occurs there would be a loss of directional control.
The manufacturer will contact keepers of affected vehicles and advise not to use the vehicle. Examine vehicles and on those with the affected component replace the steering column.
ENGINE MAY NOT START
Due to none conformity during manufacture the resistance of the insulated base inside the Engine Control Unit (ECU) which controls the electric motor may decrease. As a result the voltage in the circuit may become unstable causing the warning light to illuminate and the driving motor power to be restricted to the fail safe control. In the worst case scenario the vehicle may not be able to be restarted and the battery may not be able to be charged.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the engine ECU.
DOOR MAY OPEN UNEXPECTEDLY
A manufacturing defect in one of the components of the door locks could cause jamming of the internal mechanism and prevent the closing of one or more of the vehicle's doors. In rare cases the door could unlock and open unexpectedly.
On affected vehicles check and where necessary replace door locks.
SEAT BELT BUCKLE STRAP MAY FAIL
The seat belt buckle fitted to the second row rear seat/s may have been damaged during the production process at the supplier. In the event of an impact the seat belt buckle strap could fail and not restrain the occupant correctly.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the batch numbers and where necessary replace the seat belt buckle.

OIL LEAK MAY DAMAGE ENGINE
An oil leak could develop at the turbocharger lubrication union retaining bolt due to a non-conformity of this part.
On affected vehicles replace the turbocharger lubrication union bolt and its seals.
