DVLA recall archive
The archive holds 15,570 DVLA vehicle safety recalls dating back to 1992. Filter by manufacturer, year, or keyword. To check whether a specific vehicle is affected by an outstanding recall, run a live VRM recall check for £1.99.
Showing 51–75 of 124 recalls.
ENGINE COULD SHUT OFF UNINTENTIONALLY
The ignition module may unintentionally move the key FOB to the accessory position whilst the vehicle is moving and shut off the engine.
On affected vehicles replace ignition module and key FOBs.

On affected vehicles replace ignition module and key FOBs.
PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG MAY FAIL TO DEPLOY CORRECTLY
The passenger airbag inflator housing may rupture due to excessive internal pressure during normal airbag deployment events. This could result in an increased chance of occupant injury during certain crash conditions.
Replace air bag inflator on affected vehicles
FIRE MAY OCCUR
If liquid water or moisture enters the rear quarter vent window switch it may cause the switch to overheat. This can result in a burning smell or smoke being emitted from the switch or in extreme circumstances it can cause a drivers door fire.
Recall all affected vehicles to replace the rear quarter vent window switch and if required repair the electrical connector.
ENGINE MAY STALL
The Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) contains an internal fuel pump relay that could on affected vehicles operate intermittently or fail without warning. An intermittent or failed fuel pump relay could cause the engine to stall without warning.
Disable the TIPM internal fuel pump relay and fit an external relay.
INCORRECT WEIGHT RATINGS
The vehicle Weight Certification label has the incorrect value for Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWR). Over loading the vehicle is possible without understanding the correct GVWR specification which could cause a crash without warning.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the Weight certification label.
INCORRECT SIDE AIRBAG MAY DEPLOY
In the event of a collision from the B-pillar rearward the incorrect side airbags may deploy. This would create an increased risk of injury.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to reprogramme the Occupant Restraint Control (ORC) module.
BRAKING EFFICIENCY MAY BE REDUCED
A connector on the brake servo pipe may fail and cause a loss of vacuum assistance necessitating the driver to include additional effort when braking.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to fit a new brake servo pipe.
POSSIBILITY OF LOSS OF CONTROL
The rear suspension control arms may corrode which in time can cause the arms to fail with the subsequence loss of control.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the rear suspension control arms.
ABS MAY FAIL
The battery carrier tray may interfere with the ABS control unit wiring. This may damage the wiring and cause the ABS system to fail.
Check the wiring layout reposition if required and add protection to the harness.
ENGINE MAY CUT OUT
It has been identified that the engine injector coil protection fuse on the 1.2 engines may not be to the correct rating. Should the fuse fail it can cause the engine to cut out whilst the vehicle is in motion.
Recall all affected vehicles for the correct rated fuse to be fitted.
AIRBAG MAY DEPLOY INADVERTENTLY
The Occupant Restraint Control (ORC) module may become contaminated by water leaking from the Heating venting & Air Conditioning (HVAC) drain grommet. This may lead to the illumination of the airbag warning light and the potential for an inadvertent airbag deployment without warning.
The repair is to replace the OCR module in addition to having the HVAC tube and grommet replaced
BRAKING PERFORMANCE MAY BE AFFECTED
It has been identified that the brake pads fitted to the front and rear of the vehicle during production do not comply with ECE 13 Regulation. In extreme cases this may affect the braking performance of the vehicle.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the brake pads.
ENGINE MAY CUT OUT
Under certain conditions rough or uneven roads it is possible that the ignition switch may move to the 'Accessory' position whilst the vehicle is in motion. This can cause the engine stop and could result in a collision.
Recall all affected vehicles for inspection and the fitment of additional parts to overcome the issue.

STEERING COLUMN PERFORMANCE DURING AN IMPACT MAY BE COMPROMISED
Because a rivet may be either missing or incorrectly installed in the steering column in the event of an impact the steering column performance could be compromised.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary install a missing rivet or replace an incorrectly installed rivet.

AIRBAG MAY DEPLOY INADVERTENTLY
The Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) drain tube and grommet may leak water onto the passenger compartment carpeting and/or the Occupant Restraint Control (OCR) module. This can lead to the illumination of the airbag warning lamp and the potential for an inadvertent airbag deployment without warning.
The HVAC drain tube and grommet must be replaced.
FIRE MAY OCCUR
It is possible that the wiring for the power Sliding Door can on the hinge mechanism during operation. This result in the latch mechanism overheating and lead to a possible fire or personal injury.
Recall all affected vehicles for the wiring to be checked repaired or replaced as necessary.
