THE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER (ORC) MAY NOT OPERATE AS INTENDED
The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) may experience a loss of air bag and seat belt pretensioner deployment capability during a crash due to a shorting condition resulting in a negative voltage transient that travels to the Occupant Restraint Controller via the front impact sensor wires
Replace the Occupant Restraint Control module.
Driver airbag inflator
In the event that the airbag is activated excessive internal pressure may cause the inflator body to rupture and metal fragments may pass through the cushion material causing injury to the vehicle occupants and / or in worst cases a fatality. The concern is caused by moisture in the air getting past faulty seals and being absorbed by the pyrotechnic biscuits in the inflator. As a result it is more likely to occur sooner in areas of high humidity and high temperature difference.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the passenger front air bag module which includes the inflator.

AIRBAG MAY MALFUNCTION
It has been identified that due to corrosion there maybe a malfunction of the power supply within the Occupant Restraint Control (ORC) module. This could result in either an illuminated airbag warning lamp with the possibility of no airbag deployment in a crash necessitating airbag deployment or an inadvertent airbag deployment without an illuminated airbag warning lamp. Either of these conditions could increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Recall all affected vehicle to replace the Occupant Restraint Control module.

CENTRE REAR SEAT BELT RETRACTOR MAY NOT COMPLY WITH REQUIREMENTS
The centre rear belt retractor may not comply with regulations.
On affected vehicles replace centre rear belt retractor.
FRONT AIRBAG AND/OR SEATBELT PRE-TENSIONER MAY DEPLOY UNEXPECTEDLY
The airbag system Occupant Restraint Control (ORC) module may experience a front airbag and/or seatbelt pre-tensioner inadvertent deployment. An inadvertent deployment while driving could distract the driver and cause a crash without warning.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the ORC module. Note: Vehicles that had Safety Recall (manufacturers ref.M35 DVSA ref. R/2013/120) - Occupant Restraint Control Module Filter Circuit completed must also have the ORC module filter circuit removed. Due to issues with parts supply the recall of WG/WJ models is suspended however KJ models remain unaffected

BRAKING PERFORMANCE MAY BE REDUCED
The left front brake caliper housing may have been cast from an incorrect material. Under extreme brake application the left front brake caliper housing may rupture and affect braking efficiency.
On affected vehicles check and where necessary replace caliper

HEADLIGHTS MAY FAIL
In some circumstances the headlights can switch off without warning which will increase the risk of an accident.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and update the Body Computer with new improved software.
POSSIBLE LOSS OF VEHICLE SAFETY FEATURES
The Wireless Ignition Node (WIN) module may stick between the START and RUN position. This could cause an unintended change in ignition position to the OFF or ACCESSORY position due to spring back. This may cause may result in the loss of certain electrical features and/or a loss of engine power power steering assist and/or power brake booster assist.
Replace the WIN module and Frequency Operated Button Ignition Key (FOBIKs).
