Seat Belt Rear Outer Seats
On affected vehicles either one or both of the outer most rear seats may not have been manufactured correctly and the sensitivity sensor may be deformed. If the sensor is not functioning correctly there is a risk the seat belt may not operate as intended.

Replace the Front Passenger Airbag Takata PSPI
For vehicles fitted with a Takata front passenger airbag with a PSPI inflator these vehicles have previously received a like for like replacement front passenger airbag via a previous safety recall campaign.
The front passenger airbag module of the affected vehicles will now be replaced by an airbag module or an inflator that does not contain ammonium nitrate.

Replacing the Head Rest (2nd seat row)
On affected vehicles the outer headrests of the second row of seats may not have been manufactured correctly. In case of a collision or an accident they may not provide the necessary protection increasing the risk of injury.

Check Windscreen Bonding reworking if necessary
For affected vehicles there is concern that a gap in the windshield urethane seal at the right A-pillar was created. Due to the gap water can ingress with possible water contamination of the glove box and carpet area including the Body Domain Control unit (BDC) and power distribution box.
Check bonding of windshield and for water contamination if necessary reseal windscreen and and inspect electrical components replacing if required.

On affected vehicles the battery module frame may have been manufactured using too much force. In conjunction with swelling force of the battery this could lead to failure and a possible thermal event within the vehicles life time.

On affected vehicles the ground connection cable on the 48V power supply control unit may not have been torqued to the correct specification.
Affected vehicles will have the ground connection checked and re-torqued. If required the relevant cable and Power Control Unit will be replaced.
