The micro gas generator within the front seatbelt�s retractor may have been damaged and may not act according to the specification in the event of an accident.

INCORRECT WHEEL BOLTS MAY HAVE BEEN INSTALLED DURING PRODUCTION
On the affected vehicles incorrect wheel bolts may have been installed during vehicle production.
On the affected vehicles the wheel bolts on all 4 wheels will be checked to ensure they are the correct specification if they are not the bolts will be replaced.
EXCESSIVE INCREASE OF COOLING SYSTEM TEMPERATURE COULD LEAD TO A BURSTING OF THE HEATER MATRIX RADIATOR
Excessive increase of cooling system temperature could (in a worst case) lead to a bursting of the heater matrix radiator.
Fitting an additional thermostat and modified hoses into the heating system to bypass the heat exchanger if overheating was to occur.
THE HOLDING FORCE FOR THE TAILGATE MAY BE TOO LOW TO HOLD THE TAILGATE UP
The holding force for the tailgate may be too low to hold the tailgate up.
Software in the control unit for the tailgate will be updated (HKFM) and where necessary replace the MPAD control unit.
THERMAL AGEING OF INLINE FUSE LOCATED ON THE FRONT RIGHT SPRING STRUT DOME
Thermal ageing of an inline fuse located on the front right spring strut dome.
Modify the circuit to a later specification and replace the fuse.
THE A-PILLAR COVER HOLDER MAY NOT HAVE BEEN CORRECTLY FASTENED
The A-pillar cover holder may not have been correctly fastened.
The screw connection of the A-pillar cover holder will be checked and reworked.
IN RARE CASES DUE TO A SOFTWARE ERROR THE FAST INTERMEDIATE CIRCUIT DISCHARGE IS TRIGGERED LATE
In rare cases due to a software error the fast intermediate circuit discharge is triggered late.
On the affected vehicles software in the Battery Management Unit (BMU) will be updated by reprogramming.
THE OIL FILTER LINE COULD COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE BRAKE LINE
The oil filter line may come into contact with the brake line.
Install a modified rubber spacer and replace any brake lines showing signs of chafing.
THE STEERING COLUMN SHAFT COULD DETACH FROM THE DOUBLE JOINT
The steering column shaft assembly may detach from the bottom double joint.
Check the bottom end of the steering shaft and if required resecure the shaft using a new screw.
STATIC ELECTRICITY MAY ACCUMULATE IN THE FUEL FILLER TUBE
Static electricity may accumulate in the fuel filler tube.
Fit a modified fuel filler tube assembly incorporating a ground wire.
THE TANDAM VACUUM/OIL PUMP MAY FAIL
The fault involves the tandem vacuum/oil pump fitted to the engine. On affected vehicles it is possible that the engine rotates in the opposite direction than it is meant to on start-up causing the tandem pump to fail.
On the affected vehicles the control unit (DME) will be programmed to prevent the failure from occuring.
