UNSCHEDULED DEPLOYMENT OF AIR BAG
It is possible that a heavy impact on the underside of the vehicle could cause unscheduled activation of the airbag.
On affected vehicles the air bag control unit will be replaced with a modified component.
SECURITY OF SEAT BELT
A number of the subject vehicles have been fitted with seat belts manufactured by TRW the attachment systems of which may not remain secure in an accident situation.
Recall the affected vehicles check the date of production on the seat belt buckles and replace those within the critical batch.
REAR BRAKE HOSE MAY CHAFE SUSPENSION
When fully loaded the rear brake hoses may contact the anti roll-bar upper attachments and a plastic shield. This could damage the hoses and cause fluid loss with a consequent reduction in braking efficiency.
Recall the affected vehicles for rerouting of the rear brake hoses. Any hose found to be damaged will be replaced.

POSSIBLE FIRE RISK
Interference could occur between the gearbox wiring harness and the cover for the brake pedal cross shaft located in the front foot well. In time this could damage the harness and cause a short circuit with a consequent risk of fire.
Recall the affected vehicles and protect the wiring harness by fitting a length of protective strip to the lower edge of the cross shaft cover.
CHAFING OF POWER STEERING PIPE
On some cars a hose longer than specified could have been erroneously fitted with consequent possible interference with the engine. Such interference could in the long run cause the perforation of the hose oil leakage and a potential risk of fire.
Recall the affected vehicles and a check on the length of the hose. In cases where the hose is found to be too long it will be shortened to the right length or if damaged will be replaced.
POSSIBLE FAILURE OF REAR WHEEL BEARINGS
On a specific batch of rear wheel bearings the outer bearing race may break up during certain operating conditions leading to failure of the bearing and hub detachment.
Recall the affected vehicles for inspection and replacement of the affected bearings.
